These snapshots of Shanna were taking her last gathering with her family before going to prison for 16 years. it is several days before she went to court and was sentenced in february 2003. She does not look 22 years old here, does she? See what I mean? As for us, this rediculous woman called the department of Children and families anonymously to say I was a bad mother who did not cook or clean , smoked pot, had 20 pets and often went without electric or water. Both kids were called out of classes and questioned. They told the people that both their parents cook and do laundry and clean and there's a maid and extra help wile their mom battles for her life with interferon which is like chemotherapy. It is hard to believe someone would make up such mean charges to hurt a dying lady fighting to spend another year at most with her kids.Luckily it was anticipated and when the police trace the call to her, she's going to jail, they said, because she'd been ordered by them not to harass me and that constitutes good enough harassment to go to jail. They said 90% of anonymous calls are not really anonymous at all and can be traced. It's sad because this lady saw my church give us food, saw me go to my daughter's soccer banquet, took me to doctors and dentists for a month and knows I'm on chemo, just broke a rib, need all my teeth pulled this week, that my platelets are too low to pull them so I am in serious physical condition and she's tossing this at me --like who'd do that? She gets to enjoy 35 more years on this planet that I won't be here for--isn't that good enough for her? And for the record I did nothing to her--she's just crazy. She's the one that called the pound anonymously on me last Noemeber 1 and said a fit full of lies. She's the queen of the anonymous calls.That her allegations are such outrageous lies--she knows Dan's been here cooking and doing laundry and ironing since I began chemo--she knows he's here every day and most nights--but tells authorities I'm raising them alone and too ill to, or not doing it well. The lady asked neither kid about their dad or grandparents or any other relatives cooking or cleaning for them--just me. Is this the new attitude--take the kids from the mom if she goes on interferon? What about they order pizzas, eat out, eat sandwiches and yogurt and other things you don't cook? Not possible? My sister and I cooked all the dinners from age 12 on for our family of 6. The authorities would have laughed if we'd called in on that! They're making us cook! Dan's staying here to proove we're both here. I do appreciate the friends I have. |
Finally got some October film developed , finally got my hard drive replaced and hooked my scanner up a week before my birthday in April 2003. |
